Lot # 4 - Tag 252 - FFA Reserve Champion Market Goat - Timothy (TC) Drury
Comments:
My name is T.C. Drury and I am a senior at Red Bluff High School. I have lived in Tehama County all of my life and this is my ninth year raising, showing, and selling Boer meat goats at the Tehama District Fair. Currently, I am in my fourth year showing through the Red Bluff FFA. My goal throughout my years in the project has been to produce a quality market product through exercising, feeding, watering, and recording data for optimal health. With my experience, I have had the opportunity to educate fellow FFA members and 4-Hers on the proper practices of raising a quality market goat and presenting the full potential of the animal through showmanship. Other ways I keep myself busy is being a part of numerous extracurricular activities including cross country, Key Club, CSF, and 4-H. In school, I strive to take rigorous courses in order to learn as much as possible and prepare for my future. I plan to continue to be a part of agriculture by studying to become an Agricultural Engineer at Oregon State University. My hope is to improve the Agriculture Industry by utilizing technology to assist in farming and to give back to the community that has taught me so much.
