My name is Cathleen Tobin. I am 12 years old and am a 7th grader at Mercy STREAM academy. This is my first year in FFA, however before this I was a member at Westside 4H for 8 years. This is my 3rd year having a swine project. My hog's name is Goose. Goose is a Yorkshire-Hampshire barrow. He is a very well built hog and he is the sweetest! He likes to walk beside me in the pen but does not care to "be shown". He is super smart and easy-going. At auction weigh in he was 224 pounds but gaining quickly!! As the weather is getting warmer, he has been gaining about 3-4 pounds a day! By the time the sale is over, he should be just right for you to process and put in your skillet!! Yum!!
