My name is Iylee Armstrong and I am in the 5th grade at Richfield Elementary School. I am also a second year member of Corning 4H. This year, I chose to raise a Hampshire pig for my project. Over the past few months, I have raised Finn with hopes that I would learn more about hogs, about responsibility, and of course show well at the fair. He is a fine hog, weighing about 270 lbs on May 1st. I hope to be able to cover my costs this year, and make a little money too. I plan to use proceeds from the sale to continue saving for a car and for my education after high school. I hope youll consider bidding on my pig project this year.
