This is the first year doing a market swine for FFA. I Got my pig January 10th. I purchased this swine from GNG genetics in Corning California. My pigs name is Waylon and I have been raising him for the Tehama District Fair. Waylons tag number is 833. Some things were hard for me to do but I had a lot of fun raising Waylon. I've learned to be responsible and I've learned alot about Waylon . Ive learned the feeding amount for a pig when to cut back on feed. Ive learned how to walk a pig. Waylon has a really funny personality, he loves to run around in the yard and eat everything. When I first weighed him he was 166 pounds. He was able to unlatch the bottom hook on the gate. I plan on spending the money on future FFA projects.
