Lot # 173 - Tag 353 - FFA Reserve Champion Market Lamb - Audra Brown
Comments:
My name is Audra Brown; I am a senior and currently the Vice President of the Red Bluff FFA chapter. This is my 10th and final year raising a market lamb for the Tehama District Fair. I showed six lambs as a 4-H member in the Bowman 4-H Club, and this is the last of four I have shown as a Red Bluff FFA member. I am proud to have had 8 out of 9 lambs in previous years qualify for the 4-H/FFA Champion Final Drive. I worked hard this year training and exercising this lamb and he was ready for competition. He is a good one! I have always enjoyed exhibiting my sheep at the fair each year and wish that my last lamb Finale would have been able to be shown at the 100th annual Tehama District Fair. However, this lamb is truly the finale. In the fall, I will be attending Colorado State University, majoring in Equine Science. All of the money earned from my previous nine lambs has been put aside for my college tuition, and all of the money earned from this lamb will be added to it. Thank you Tehama District Fair Junior Livestock Auction buyers for supporting my projects over the years and helping me fund my college education.
