My name is Allison Lloyd and I have always had the dream of being a veterinarian. Growing up I have worked very hard in school to get good grades and show everyone that I am very serious about my goals that I have set. I have quite a bit of experience with farm animals and I have been part of 4-H and now FFA. This year I am showing a sheep and it has been a roller coaster of events. When I got him I did not know how it would go. At first he was very stubborn and just did not want to cooperate with me. The more I worked with him the more he began to listen and started walking great and now he braces well. I have done more than just teach him how to brace and how to walk though. Ive also played music around him and brought him around other people, loud noises and distractions to help him get used to them for fair. My sheep has gained weight at a constant rate and has never lost weight since the time I got him. Through all the not being able to go to school and fair getting cancelled has made it a bit harder to think positively in my project but I have still been very attentive to my sheep and his health. I think this project went very well and I am looking forward to showing again next year.
