Lot # 202 - Tag 351 - McKenzie Runnels
Comments:
My name is McKenzie Runnels, I am a sophomore here at Red Bluff Highschool. I am proud to be part of our Red Bluff FFA and this is my second year raising a market lamb. Last year I had such a fun experience and it really opened my eyes about all the work me and my advisor put into having an amazing market animal and being a good showman. This year I have named my lamb Joey, he is very active and loves to jump. I have been feeding lamb slam with a handful of grass hay. He currently weighs about 124. In the beginning it was harder to walk him everyday because I had to level out School, Sports, Homework and my lamb. Due to the virus, I have been walking him a lot! This year I learned how to shear my lamb and got to do it on my own. It was a lot of work, 3 hours worth! After high school I plan on being a game warden or being involved in agricultural work. Being involved in Ag classes and showing an animal has been really eye opening and I have learned so much.
