Hi, my name is Emalee Ross. I am the President of Bowman 4-H, teen leader for my sheep groupd and currently in my 7th year as a member. This year I am raising my 5th market sheep. His name is Dozer and weighs 149lbs. When I got Dozer in January he only weighed 69lbs. His average daily weight gain would be about 2/3 of a pound. He is a very good eater. He is currently eating 2lbs of grain, 2x a day. Everyday I take my sheep out and wash and dry his legs to keep the wool from falling out and I also walk and work with him on standing still. This year I also took on a breeding project as well. I got her at a week old and bottle fed her.I am 14 years old and an 8th grader at Evergreen Middle School. I keep atleast a 3.0 GPA. Outside of 4-H, I am a member of the Redding Jr. Rodeo Association where I ride on the drill team. I also played on my schools volleyball and softball team. I enjoy being outside and staying active.Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I hope you will bid on my lamb.
