My name is Savannah Jones. I am a sophomore at Mercy High School and have been participating in Mercy FFA for three years. I raised and bred sheep for five years, then sold them all to buy a steer. This year I am raising my first steer named Colt. he will weigh around 1,325lbs at the sale. Raising this steer has taught me patience and he took the saying blood, sweat, and tears to a whole new level. This will be my last year in Mercy FFA because Mercy High Schools doors will be closing after this school year, I will be continuing my journey at West Valley High School and will be participating in Shasta County Fair. I have had a blast over the years meeting new people and making memories. I hope to see every single one of you at the sale and if there is no live sale then tune in online. After graduating high school I plan on going to college to play softball or going into the US Marines.
