Hi this is Makaylie Cook and Cotton Tag #143. Club Cross Steer. We will be in the Tehama County Junior Livestock Auction via internet sale on May 16-17. I am 16 years old in the 12th grade and have completed all my assignments to graduate as a Senior this year from TELA here in Red Bluff. My goal after graduation is to attend Yuba College Vet Tech school in Marysville, CA to become a Registered Vet Tech and continue my schooling to become a veterinarian. My Senior Project was to Shadow a Local Vets office of which I did and received an A for this Project.This is my 8th year in 4-H. I am with Antelope 4-H and will be my 3rd time showing a steer named Cotton. I purchased my Market Steer with my earnings from last years sale. My steer has gained at the rate of 2.95 a day. Artois feed with grass hay. Loves his bathing and grooming time.I have been Vice President, Club Historian, Activity Officer, Club Reporter, Club Treasurer, Sargent of Arms over the years. I just finished my term as the 2018-2019 as All Star/Ambassador and a B.L.A.S.T. I have won the Community Service Award 3 times. My Emerald Star Project collecting 321 Backpacks filled with school supplies. I was the recipient chosen to attend AM VETS Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge Youth Conference for 4 days in Valley Forge, PA. Thank you for your support. Makaylie Lynn Michelle Cook support.
