Comments:
Hi my name is Jordan Neugebauer and I am 12 years old and in the 6th grade at Lake Elementary. This is my 3rd year showing pigs at Glenn County Fair. I'm a member of the National Junior Swine Association and have shown at several different hog shows. I currently have a home grown barrow "Gonzaga" for this Glenn Show and another barrow and two gilts for the already cancelled California State Fair. 3Neuges is my family's business that breeds and raises Showpigs. Growing up on a hog farm has given me opportunities to learn about pigs like breeding, farrowing, processing a litter, giving shots and feeding. I like raising pigs Because I get to watch the Pigs grow, I enjoy training them to be good show Pigs and farrow out the babies. My greatest accomplishment was winning showmanship at the Western bonanza and getting a banner And belt buckle. Raising Pigs has given me good work ethics. Every morning I wake up, feed, walk, and wash my pigs, which I enjoy. I also enjoy playing with piglets or cleaning pens to keep my self busy and keep learning more along the way.I would like to say thank you to my parents and my brothers for their help. I also want to thank my 4H leaders. Thank you to those who made this show possible and helping me complete my project. Should you have any questions I can be contacted at (530) 517-3541
