My name is Savannah Kampmann. I am in the 7th grade at Capay Elementary School, a member of California Junior Scholarship Federation and California Junior High School Rodeo Association. I like to plant, ride my 4-wheeler and taking pictures. This is my third year in Capay 4-H, and I am holding a two-year term as club Treasurer. I am grateful for the many opportunities that 4-H has led me to. I have grown as a public speaker and learned better leadership. 4-H challenges me to try new things and come out of my comfort zone. I am involved in many projects, and one of my favorites is the Swine Project. This is my third year in swine, and this is my pig Rooter. I have enjoyed working with him this year and have learned from many challenges. One challenge that I really had to work on with Rooter is his reaction to sudden movement, it usually makes him run away. Rooter loves to play with the other pigs and loves bath time!
