Hi, my name is Ryan Bailey and I am currently a 4th grader at Plaza School. I am 9 years old. I am the youngest of 3 boys in my family. This year is my 4th year in Plaza 4H. In the past 3 years I raised rabbits to show at the Glenn County Fair. I have also done arts and crafts in previous years. I have always wanted to do more but could not because of my age. Most projects require you to be 9. I am excited to try other projects such as archery, Outdoor adventures, and start running for officer positions. I was voted to be Sergeant of Arms for Plaza 4h for 2 years. This is my year raising a pig. I chose this project because I wanted to learn how to care for a pig. I have learned so much about how to wash, feed, and exercise my pig. My pigs name is Spot. He is a crossbred. He weighs about 215 pounds. This year I am finally old enough to sell at the Glenn County Fair but unfortunately the COVID-19 prevented me from selling this year. I was also looking forward to getting in the show ring with my pig.I would like to thank everyone who made this show and sale possible. Thank you to the community for supporting all of us while complete our projects.
