My name is Makenna Baker. I am 12 years old and in the 7th grade at Lake Elementary School. This is my sixth year in Lake 4-H and my third year in the market swine project. This year I raised two pigs; my market hog, Chuck, and my soon-to-be breeding sow, Sue. I got Chuck in January and have been working with him ever since. I am currently feeding him six pounds a day of Show Rite 17.5 mixed with water. Everything I earn from Chuck will help me purchase my market hogs for next year's show.
