Hello, my name is Alison Kochems and I am a sophomore at Orland High School. I have been a proud member of the Schaffert 4-H Club for 5 years and have been involved in raising meat pen rabbits for four of those years. I am also very involved in archery, swimming, photography and the performing arts.This year my meat pen are Californian rabbits. My friend and I started our own breeding program last year and these rabbits are a product or our hard work in the bred and fed program. We also bred and provided 4-H programs in other counties with rabbits to show for their local programs. I take great pride in making sure these animals are well fed, exercised daily and provided with a regular health exam to ensure that they are of the highest quality to show and sell. All proceeds from the sale of this meat pen will go to my college fund. I have high hopes of attending either Notre Dame or Harvard when I graduate in two years.I want to thank you for viewing my Californian rabbits and hope that your summer is exceptional!
