Hi my name is Ariana Smedley, I am 16 years old and this is currently my third year being an independent exhibitor.Ive had an amazing experience every year that I showed and marketed an animal. I have been showing market goats at the Glenn County Fair for four years now but due to Covid 19 we no longer have the opportunity open to us to exhibit our animals at the fair which is very sad but with an online auction available we still have a chance to sell our animal and not let all of the hard work and time and dedication go to waste. I named my goat Dwight after my favorite show, The Office. I chose this name because Dwight is a very cheerful and entertaining person and I thought that it matched my goats personality. He loves to run and Exercise everyday, he is a very active and healthy goat. I was very sad when the fair got canceled because I was excited to show Dwight. I thought he had very good potential to do good in showmanship and market. Despite not having a fair I still get the opportunity to sell Dwight on May 15-16th. Ive put in a lot of time walking, feeding and caring for Dwight to make sure he is a good quality animal.
