My name is Kaitlyn Rushing. I am 18 years old and this is my second year as a Bowman 4-H member. This year is my first year selling Californian meat rabbits. I have learned a lot about caring for a show animal and I think that Californian rabbits where a great place to start. I have learned how to properly keep track of each of their individual weights so that I can make sure they are all gaining weight and are staying consistent. I also plan to keep the one that I do not sell and would like to show that one in showmanship for the next fair and if it is a doe I plan to breed her for the following years show.
