Hello, my name is Brad Mallery and I am 12 years old. I will be going into the seventh grade at Johnstonville Elementary School. I enjoy running on the cross-country team and playing baseball. I have been in Richmond 4-H for 5 years and I am currently the reporter for the club. My other projects in 4-H are crafts and cooking. This is my 3rd year raising market beef. I have taken Buddy my steer to a couple of jackpots and I received third place in my class. I purchased my steer October 2019 and his name is Buddy. This year I have learned about a better feeding routine, halter breaking and practicing with showmanship. Buddy really loves his grain and usually is standing and waiting at the feeder to eat. I think the sweet grain tastes like candy to him. Thank you for your support!
