My name is Graceyn Harlan, and I am going to be a sophomore this fall at Lassen High School. I am very involved in extracurricular activities such as volleyball, softball, basketball, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and last but not least, the Susanville FFA. Before I joined FFA, I was very involved in 4-H.4-H was a great way for me to get more involved in the community. We did many community service activities such as making food baskets for people in need during the holidays. 4-H also taught me responsibility. Ive been showing pigs at the fair for the last five years through 4-H. This taught me to take care of animals making me more responsible. This year I raised one pig to show and sell at the fair, but because of the Coronavirus, we are having a virtual show and auction. While I am disappointed that there will be no fair this year, I am so grateful that we can still show and sell our animals. These past months have been very different from my usual schedule. Usually, at this time I would be traveling to play softball and basketball, but recently I have been going camping, going to the lake, and attending basketball and volleyball open gyms. I love to wakeboard and tube when we go to the lake. Another thing I like to do is paint.. My favorite colors are blue and purple, and my favorite food is pizza. When I get older I would like to travel the world.
