My name is Alex Shaw, I am 12 years old, and this is my fourth year showing swine in 4-H.This year, I am taking one market swine to show and sell. Her name is Monkey and she is a Hampshire cross, weighing 251 pounds. I would like to thank everyone that was involved or helped with making this virtual show possible, such as the Fair Board, Junior Livestock Auction committee and all county 4H and FFA leaders and parents. I have really enjoyed working, feeding, showing and clipping my pig this year, it has been super fun and a great experience. Outside of 4H, I run cross-country; play flag football and basketball for my school. Also at school I maintain a 4.0 GPA and participate in the art and drama electives. I love to play board games, paint, and build things.If you do bid or are considering, thank for your support. Many other 4H and FFA kids have worked hard to get to this point. Hopefully by next year we will be able to have the livestock auction and fair in person.
