Hi, my name is Taylore Somerville, I have been in FFA for two years and have been in 4-H for five years showing lambs. The time has flown by. This year I have raised two lambs. Their names are Maverick and Brody. I have been selected to become an FFA officer this year. The position that I currently hold is Historian. I am responsible for recording all that will happen this year and put it in the scrapbook. My extra-curricular activities are playing on the LHS basketball and volleyball teams. I have been playing basketball since I was 8 years old and volleyball since I was 12 years old. I am busy most of the time. This summer I have been taking an ASL college class for my second language and I am doing pretty well. I love to travel and explore new places. After high school I plan to go to college and become a teacher for younger kids. My parents are both in the educational field, but instead of high school and college students, I have the patience for teaching younger children. The colleges that I am thinking about attending are Chico, Sacramento, or maybe San Luis Obispo. After college I want to work in a different country teaching children on a military base. That way I will be able to see a different country and explore while I teach children. Thank you for participating in the 2020 Junior Livestock Auction.
