Lot # 69 - Tag 606 - Kendahl Loflin
Comments:
Thanks to corona, my last year of showing livestock at the local fair has came to an abrupt end. Hello my name is Kendahl Loflin. I started showing at a super young age with dairy calves and did this up until I entered high school. This is my 4th year showing animals for FFA, my last 3 years I showed market steers and decided show something a little smaller this year. I have always enjoyed working with animals and advancing my knowledge about them through the Agricultural Program at Lassen.Outside of FFA, I have a 3.75 GPA and I am also an active golfer and have had some pretty good scholarship offers to some schools across the country! Im also apart of the Lassen Grizzly Claybreakers, and I have been the top varsity girl on our team 2 years in a row. In trap I shoot a 870 wing-master classic trap where my scores have been averaging mid to high 90s at competition. These few months have definitely been a different experience choosing an animal that I am inexperienced with and learning a lot in the process. My ewe(ear tag 606) this year weighed 129lbs. She is a real sweetheart and definitely my favorite out of the two. My whether (ear tag 607) came in weighing 125lbs. I really enjoyed this experience with my two lambs, they showed me that I had to be a little more patient when I was working with them.
