Comments:
Hi! Im Andi Anderson, Im 11 and this is my 3rd year as a Lassen County Hoofbeats member. My projects are horses, dogs and sheep. This is my second year selling market lambs. I love being involved in raising and showing lambs under the guidance of Arrow M Livestock (Dennis, Debi & Melissa Michaels). They have been helping me select, breed, raise and show lambs for 4 years. Showing sheep is one of my passions. This year has been tough because we were unable to travel to shows. I am thankful and excited for Lassen County Fair to be able to share & show my lambs.I will be showing 2 lambs. Junior weighed in at 158 pounds. He is smart, sassy and started out as a bottle baby, but after a couple days his mom was able to care for him on her own. Mo weighs 142 pounds. His mom is one of the ewes I showed at the fair in breeding classes last year and I assisted in his birth. Every time I've worked with them I wish I couldve spent more time. I plan to be a Veterinarian with a degree from Massey University in New Zealand or Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. I also want to be study Agriculture Business. I am currently an Honor Roll Student going into 7th grade and a volunteer at Lassen Veterinary Services. Looking forward to this new format of showing and wish all participants Good Luck with their show and market projects.
