Hi! My name is Paige Parker, and this is my second year showing market animals with Richmond 4H. This year I have entered two market goats, two market pigs and two breeding animals in the Lassen County Virtual Junior Livestock Show. All my market animals were born and bred on my family farm! I take part in the whole process from breeding to birthing! Ivan (ear tag 111), is my heavy weight goat, weighing in at 131 pounds of lean muscle and personality, He is like a big dog and follows me around, His brother, Bomber (ear tag 112), is my light weight goat and weighs in at 100 pounds. He is curious and cuddly.My pigs are Duke and Prince. Duke is ear tag 83 and weighs 274 pounds. He is easy going, loves baths and has been super easy to raise. His brother Prince (85) is weighing in at 286 pounds. He is a jogger and I have gotten a lot of exercise chasing him!Animals take up lots of time, but I also have many other interests. I love to travel, bake and quilt. This year I have participated in cooking and beginning 4H projects. I also went to Mexico for some sun and fun.
